Smells Like Closure® was born from a very specific moment — the quiet aftermath of being ghosted.

No big blow-up. No dramatic ending. Just unanswered questions, a lot of overthinking, and the slow realisation that sometimes closure doesn’t come from the person who hurt you.

So I made my own closure for us.

Smells Like Closure is a breakup-themed candle brand for people navigating modern dating, emotional whiplash, and the weird space between “I’m fine” and “why am I still thinking about this?”. Each candle is inspired by familiar patterns — the ones we all swear we’ll never fall for again… until we do.

Our candles aren’t about bitterness or bashing — they’re about processing, humour, and taking your power back. Lighting one is a small ritual: a pause, a breath, a reminder that your feelings make sense and that you don’t need someone else’s apology to move forward.

Every candle is hand-poured in small batches, designed intentionally, and wrapped in a little bit of honesty. They’re imperfect, personal, and made with care — just like healing usually is.

This brand is for the people who feel deeply, love hopefully, and are learning (sometimes the hard way) that peace is better than potential.
